Nutmeg Graduate Placements

While it is always desirable to train a student in The Nutmeg 10 Year Dance Curriculum, Nutmeg realizes that today’s Residency Program attracts trainees from a variety of training backgrounds. These trainees who study in Nutmeg’s 2 and 4 year Accredited Programs are looking for solid ballet fundamentals alongside individualized detailed technique and performance work that Nutmeg offers in its accelerated programs.

While a minimum of four years is preferred, we have achieved outstanding results with students who have trained with us in the two and three year programs as well. Our artistic focus is on the student, developing their natural talents while improving areas such as: understanding and increasing turn out, building strength and flexibility and the understanding of technique alongside the further development of the artistry required when learning classical, neo classical, and contemporary repertoire.
Nutmeg typically has 3 to 8 graduates yearly. Nutmeg works with each individual student in their preparation to approach company auditions with resources that equip them to their ultimate potential in that progression.
